We all work in the business sector of the internet to make money.

How do we make money is the question everyone is asking.

If you have a website you have taken the first important steps on the road to making money but .....

Have you optimised your website correctly ?

Have you built up your links with a linking campaign ?

Have you added you meta tags and H1 tags correctly ?

Have you placed your keywords correctly ?

Unless you have done all the above your website will remain in limbo and you won't make money.

If you have done all the above and your website is still hiding in the midst of the thousands of websites in the searches then you still have work to do.

Writing articles is a great help as it gets your link on hundreds of websites.

Sign up to as many directories as you can find.

Add pages to your website, new content is important.

Check out the top of the search websites and see what they have done and what is different to yours !

Keep your website colours neutral with dashes of colour, glaring colours will send any visitors flying off instantly.

Make your index page interesting so visitors will stop and check it out, if they are looking for a business to get started themselves they want variety to choose, or if you are just pushing one business try and get their interest straight away with well chosen words that will keep them reading.

If possible refrain from uploading straight away leave it for a day or two then go back and check it out. If it still looks good and it makes you yourself want to sign up if you were not already a member then you have got it right.

If it looks mediocre and a bit dull then ask yourself where have I gone wrong and what can I do to improve it.

It may just need a word here or there that needs changing it is surprising what difference a word can make, if you have a thesaurus go through it and look at alternatives, if you don't have one then go out and buy one it could be worth its weight in gold.
